UK Security Adviser Jonathan Powell Traveled to Israel Ahead of Consulate Closure

Jonathan Powell, Britain’s national security adviser, visited Israel last week to try to negotiate over the looming closure of his country’s consulate in Jerusalem, according to three officials.
